About KidLoop
KidLoop helps families pass along outgrown kids' items to neighbors who can use them next. Our mission is simple: reduce waste, save money, and strengthen local communities — one item at a time.
How it works
Post a listing
Take a photo and post items your kids have outgrown — toys, clothes, books, gear, and more.
Neighbor picks it up
Families in your neighborhood browse listings and message you to arrange a free pickup.
Close the loop
The item gets a second life. Less waste, more community, no landfill.
Our environmental impact
Kids outgrow items fast — sometimes after just a few uses. When those items go to landfill, they add to the millions of tonnes of textile and toy waste generated every year. KidLoop exists to break that cycle.
- ♻️ Every item shared avoids production of an equivalent new item
- 🚛 Local pickups mean near-zero transport emissions
- 💚 Keeping items circulating in the community extends their useful life
Free for everyone — funded by the community
KidLoop is completely free to use. We pay real costs out of our own pocket — hosting, email delivery, and cloud storage — so families can give and receive items without spending a cent.
If KidLoop has ever helped you declutter or saved you money on a purchase, consider buying us a coffee ☕ to help keep the lights on. Even a $3 donation goes a long way.
